Palin is Obama’s Best Fundraiser
September 5, 2008 – 12:32 pm
Sarah Palin has voiced her discontent with attacks from the Democrats. But as it turns out, stopping the attacks aren’t the worst of her problems. Her biggest problem is campaigning for Obama. She made a national debut on September 3rd at the Republican National Convention. Her speech was so ill-received by the public, that it prompted a tidalwave of donations to the Obama campaign. A record breaking $8 million (and rising) in donations following her anti-Obama rhetoric speech 1, 2. The recent addition to the republican ticket was meant to lure swing voters; it has proven immensely successful, but to their dismay, towards the wrong side.
“I hope she gives a speech every day,” said Obama spokesman Bill Burton, and for good reason. It’s not everyday that your opponent so thoroughly sabotages its own campaign. By the time McCain gave his speech 24 hours later, 130,000 donors had contributed $10 million to Obama’s campaign 3. Democrats looked forward to McCain’s speech eagerly, knowing even more money would flow in after his speech.

Thank God you can’t buy the presidency. Democrats out spent Republicans in the last 2 elections. I’m going to use my vote to cancel out Oprah’s. God Bless America.

STUMBLED!
I’m with you, please make a speech everyday. Hey, if she doesn’t, we still have the daily dose of her hidden scandals.
Between the speeches and scandals, Obama will have a ton of money, enough for 2 elections.

STUMBLED ALSO
Yep. McCain is going to go down. The Vegas odds suggest this. They aren’t in the business of giving away free money.
