  2. Liberals protest war, huh? I don’t hear anyone protesting the war in Afghanistan right now.

  3. You are an idiot. Conservatives aren’t against Healthcare they are against what was proposed as healthcare. I actually read the bill and it is garbage, but who cares right as long as it healthcare. No reason to make it good, no reason to make it sustainable, just as long as it passes through. Yet another feel good piece of legislation that only makes the idiots feel good.

  4. Perhaps you’re both right.

Perhaps this current idea of “conservative” and “liberal” is DESIGNED to keep the plebes fighting and thus missing the point.

Perhaps perhaps any “service” which is administered at the point of a gun is not really a service, whether it be the compulsory funding of a war machine, or the compulsory funding of a socialized “healthcare” system.

  5. Shouldnt the sticker say Liberals protest democracy, Conseratives protest massive federal spending, big government, and over-taxation?

  6. Hmm, politics.. health care and liberals and conservatives and all that.

  7. I am a 66 year old Canadian and if you STUPID people in the USA think your going to get Free Heath care,,, talk to some Canadians and not the freeloaders who don’t work.

  8. “Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain.”

  9. We’re not protesting health care. We’re protesting gigantic government boon doggles that will waste valuable dollars while ruining health care.

By Paul the Cab Driver on Nov 16, 2009

  10. Don’t be stupid…nobody is protesting healthcare…people are protesting a government takeover of health care. Another stupid liberal soundbyte that they think sounds clever. Why don’t you ask the question….”What makes you think a government, republican or democrat…can run health care more efficiently then the private sector. If you want to talk about finding ways to get the truly needy who are not currently covered…fine…if you want to talk about better legislation of the insurance industry…fine..but do you really think the US Government…the one that paid hundreds of dollars for hammers and toilet seats are going to run health care efficiently? Please…get serious…

  12. Gosh,
You know what? I was an cold, heartless conservative until this this flash of insight
right here, man! I wanted people to die from lack of healthcare, and worldwide perpetual war!!
Not because i have Halliburton stock mind you!!
No simply because of the fact i was a cold, heartless creature, who used to think you actually needed money to pay for things!! HA!!
This bumper taught me no!! you Don’t!! We can pay
for this healthcare with hope, change and the warmth of our blessed newly Liberal hearts!!
Hallelujah!! Now that i am a freshly minted,
Lib, what do we fill the hole that was climate change? Who will be our new Gore?

Most lawyers find Congressional legislation difficult to understand. What qualifies you to read and understand it?

  14. We’re not protesting health care. We’re protesting gigantic government boon doggles that will waste valuable dollars while ruining health care.<

There’s a public option in the legislation for people who need (can’t afford other healthcare).
The government isn’t taking over anything.
And if you’d been in need of medical care most of your life, you’d be singing a different tune. It’s always those who don’t have problems who protest solutions for those who do. It’s the “so screw them” attitude that Republicans consistently display toward everyone else. Speaking of which, just how many poor, needy Republicans do you know? This goes for a bunch of “so screw them” people who’ve posted here.

Yes, that’s a fact. They’re keeling over in the streets in all of Europe and Canada on a daily basis. I guess you heard about it from Fox News.
