June 17, 2008 – 11:44 amEDIT: Woohoo! After the initial fail, Mozilla fixed the servers, and downloading resumed. 24 hours later, they broke the record by several million, with 8.3 Million downloads!

Haha, this is funny, but I’m actually really rooting for them.
Go here, to download FireFox 3, which I hope works for you. Firefox is working on breaking a downloading world record today, June 17th.

Firefox Download Day is the 18th. If you took the pledge, Mozilla should have sent you a email, informing you download day is the 18, as in tomorrow.

The direct URL for FireFox 3 is download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.0&os=win&lang=en-GB
That’ll get you the Windows British English version; make guesses about the os= and lang= parts for other versions.
