Bush: “No regime should ignore the will of its own people.”

July 25, 2008 – 3:00 pm

The Whitehouse issued a statement today in regards to the sanctions against Zimbabwe saying, “no regime should ignore the will of its own people.” From the statement:

The regime has also continued its ban against NGO activities that would provide assistance to the suffering and vulnerable people of Zimbabwe. No regime should ignore the will of its own people and calls from the international community without consequences.

My brain is literally going to explode trying to think of which instance to cite. Which of the billion instances of public disapproval of the Bush Administration should I list? Regardless, this is a fun statement coming from the “polls don’t determine policy” president.

In other news, today, July 25th, CNN is currently broadcasting the Bush impeachment hearings.
