how to make your own gun cozy/koozie/coozie

Step 1

This is your average every day, pre-ban 18-round 9 milimeter glock. It's a great gun...never jams, never misfires, and can survive three years under water and still be a precise weapon.

But during the winter, these guns can get very cold, and who wants to fire a cold gun? This is my step-by-step guide on making your very own gun koozie! (or gun cozy, or however it's spelled). Forget trigger tightening or sites... the gun cozy may be the most important modification in the history of guns.

This goes perfect with your beer koozie!

Step 2

First things first. Take a black sock and put it over your gun like so.

Step 3

Last and final step is to cut holes in the front for the barrel to come out of, and in the middle, so you can reach the trigger.

There are other hidden benefits too! After the sock warms up, you can use it to warm up other parts of your body when you're done shooting. Also, it collects used shells, so you prevent pesky evidence AND protect the environment from litering! And finally, this is a sure fire way of preventing finger prints from you getting on your gun. (pun intended!)
