...and our response!

We got a letter in April 2008 from some bigshot lawfirm in Washington DC. We were accused of hacking.

I have mulled this over with my lawyers, and we decided to proceed with your lawsuit. We gave your client the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) address of 127.0.0.1. This address is considered a “loop-back” address, which means that is the address for everyone’s own computer. Your client has been looking at his own files.

Please also advise your client that we do not enjoy cyber threats – like the threats he made that lead us to “hacking” and “stealing” his files – and that any further threats made against us will result in further attempts like this to highlight his stupidity.

We look forward to presenting this information to the judge.
